This 55-unit market-rate housing project is located on the site of a former liquid sugar processing plant. The six buildings include townhouse-type units on the lower floors that have small ground floor work space along the street. Above them are loft units that have a living floor with a sleeping mezzanine leading to a deck. Each unit has two parking spaces in a shared semi-private garage. The buildings are oriented toward the streets, an adjacent pedestrian greenway, and an interior garden. Four units are organized around a common stair and then massed together to form the buildings. The common stairs provide a slot to break down the massing of the buildings and create a more intimate feeling.
